YORK — Join the York Land Trust and local wildlife tracking expert
Dan Gardoqui of White Pine Programs on Saturday, Jan. 26, for a morning
walk to decode the mysteries of track, trail and sign in the forests
and wetlands of the Cape Neddick Golf Course Easement.
This is one location where otter signs have been spotted in the past,
and we're sure to see all sorts of other wildlife tracks in the area.
All are welcome on this walk, which will be done at a slow to moderate
pace. Make sure you bundle up.
This wraps up the Trust's four seasonal Otter Treks to celebrate the
Year of the Otter.
Contact the York Land Trust office at 363-7400 to register.
This event is free and open to the public. Meet at the York Land Trust
office, 449 U.S. Route One, by 9 a.m. The trek is expected to last until
noon.
